it's overheating because you are meshing them together way too tight.

hate to say this but i told you so.

what's done is done, learn to do thing properly in the first pass.

the bearing is about 60 a pop, installation will require a press which most likely not going to be a home garage job

People usually say it's the rear diff...but my boy had the same thing happen to him...He got the rear axle replaced and the problem was fixed. I'd say tighten that nut
