Other than clearing the code, reseting the PCM will fix nothing.

Resetting is the worst thing you can do. Then you loose your codes and freeze data, making it harder for yourself or anyone to fix.

i have the same problem
i noticed my Main required light flashes 10 times when i start it then it goes off
my check ewngine light also goes on
any one have any ideas??
my Vfac say Vtec is on but it actually never kicks in
and my rev limit is 7000
any ideas>

as with my experience, i'd probably ask you to check the oil level and the wiring to the vtec solenoid first, go check the error code on the CEL.
