by shake where do you feel the shake coming from. I have a similar issue but it causes my driver side mirror to vibrate after about 4000 rpm and accelerating. passenger side mirror doesn't vibrate at all it comes from the driver side axle. my awesome mechanic from this site said it most likely needs an axle bucket swap to cure the vibration. this is the link from someone that did it on this site.

good luck bro

I get a vibration from the rear at high speed or getting up to high speed heavy on throttle. I know its coming from the rear of the car tho... thats about it.

I had that symptom before too (shaking when on heavy throttle...or any throttle between 55-75).

The problem was the inner cv joint on the driver's side was pitted. Swapping left to right fixed it...though it is 3+ hours of work.

Many S2Ks do this at 70-80K miles.

There's your answer.

I have seen it as low as 39k miles. Swapping buckets left to right is the best and cheapest fix. win win.
