Default Scan Tools

Hey,
Been looking into buying a scan tool for sometime now. I recently moved to Miami where for some reason you cant go to Autozone to check codes for free? Anyways i was lookin at the Actron products and was looking at 3 basic models. Raning in price from $75-$130. The main differences between is being able to freeze frame data and print data. The basic one will read and clear codes but not freeze frame or give DTC codes.

If any of you guys have used these actron products in the past or know of better ones lmk thanx alot

I like my AutoEnginuity software/connector/cable, used with my laptop. It does show freeze frame data, DTC codes and can print results.

go search for a datalogging program to let you use your palm pilot, all you need is the software and the obd2 cable.

it read, clear code and allow you to datalog all the sensor from your car, well, most of the sensors.

Well, ok, if you like iam7head's suggestion, AutoEnginuity works with PocketPC and Palm devices too (I have no connection with them, just a satisfied user).
