smell from bay
upon hard acceleration, afterwards, usually when i come to a stop, i get a funky smell from the engine bay, cant really describe it. also, this doesnt happen all the time. this may sound like a stupid question, i know. but i have read other threads where some have complained of wierd smells from the engine bay. i know it can be anything from a vacuum hose to an exhaust leak. just trying to see if this has been a normal issue and if theres a quick fix. alright, thanks anyone in advance!
also, car is about to hit 48k, nothing spewing in the engine bay, everything is sparkling!

could be tons of stuff.
Have you had a recent oil change? Some miniscule oil spillage/rub-off on a few parts is normal, if this is the case it should go away with normal usage. But I bet you would've been able to recognize the smell of burning oil, so thats probably not it.
It actually may be a dead animal --I'm not kidding, this does happen-- how bad is the smell? rodents/cats like to crawl up into hot engine bays, they may fall asleep or just get caught off-guard and killed, some parts fall out, some stick and smell
If it was a smell that happened each time I did some hard acceleration, I'd check for any plastic parts that may have gotten loosened, any leaks in any of the fluid reservoirs (window washer fluid, coolant, hydrolics (do hydrolic fluids smell? I don't know, I'd check
Go get your exhaust checked for good measure.
Is your engine 'sparkling' because of a past engine detail? It may be some sort of detailing agent residue burning up --silicone comes to mind.
Also, you might want to check your A/C coolant gas/tubes--that stuff has a funky smell that might be entering the cabin if there's a leak. Why it would enter after hard acceleration I don't know, there are too many variables to consider, but it might be worth it to check it.
Also, for the heck of it, I'd go ahead and check the cabin air filter.
Oh, and you might want to cut down on your fried bean intake
