Are there any special tools or techniques for removing the yellow speaker mounting grommets from the door without breaking?

Seems the only way I could get these off was by breaking off the round part in the front, and then pushing the square shaft through
the hole until it falls inside the door, and then collecting the broken bits.

the 6 yellow grommets on the door (4 for speaker, 2 for door weather stripping) are the only grommets on the door that cannot be removed without destroying them.
