It's not cheap, but you could try the new Toda Heavy Duty Chain Tensioner

looks like an oem chain tensioner with toda stamped on it. I'd like to know the difference, and if it will last as long as mine

idk if this will help your issue or not but i had problems with a noisy tct before i rebuilt my engine. after the rebuild and a new tct i still had the noise. finally after alot of work, i just replaced the chain guides and put in another tensioner and its been gravy ever since! just if nothing else helps.
