Default Top Not Going Down

Hey everyone, my top will no longer go down and my hazard light button doesnt light up anymore but the hazards lights themselves do work when I press the button. I took out the center console to regrease my shifter and unplugged both to do so. I had my top down while working on it but when I plugged in the two again the top wouldnt go back up. So I took it apart and unplugged then plugged in the top switch again and it went up. Then a few days later I go to put the top down and nothing Dont think it could be a fuse could it?

Maybe you tugged some of the wires off their terminals in the harness plugs.

Think I may have fixed it. Took off the console and noticed the wire that goes from my HU to my ipod was chilling around the hand brake switch. Think it was resting on it, causing the car to think the brake was never engaged. Thanks for the suggestions and quick replies

mine did that after I had a head unit installed by a shop, turned out the little prongs under the handbrake switch weren't making proper contact. After straightening out the prongs it worked fine so they were making proper contact on the switch.

If it works and then doesnt work...then works again, it's not a fuse. If it just plain doesn't work, check the fuses.

another thing possible after center console removal - there are 3 switches and sockets on 2 of them are identical. if you mess up their connectors both doesn't work.
