Troubleshooting Fuel Pump - Edmonton
Hey everyone,
It's been a long time since I've been on here, but it's time to get my S2000 back on the road. The car was built with an Inline Pro sidewinder turbo kit, AEM EMS, and Aeromotive 1000 FP.
About 5 years ago, the inline pro exhaust manifold developed heat fractures and vented exhaust gases into the fuse box, battery, and passenger side wiring harness. At the time, I tore the car down and had the manifold repaired, but it hasn't been a high priority to repair until now. I'd like to get everything fixed up and back on the road to sell before starting school again in the fall.
I've sourced and installed a new wiring harness, replaced the underhood fuse box and reinstalled the turbo/manifold/piping. I tried to start the car today and the fuel pump no longer audibly primes; I'm getting a crank with no start. My gut tells me that there's an electrical issue related to the fuel pump that originated when the wiring harness cooked out. I've double checked the fuel pump fuse and can't see any relays that are visibly loose or damaged.
What would you check next? Any tips would be appreciated at this point. Unfortunately, there's a fair bit of custom wiring with the EMS, so it may be complicating things.
Long shot, but if there's anyone in the Edmonton area that would be interested in lending a hand, I'd provide all the beer, pizza or compensation they felt fair.
Thanks in advance.
