Quick question:
I am about to purchase a Very Low mile 04 S2k (5k miles) but unfortunately the car is no longer under warranty. If I have this issue will Honda still fix it for free?

I had mine done and it came out better than ever. There is an awesome s2k service advisor at a local dealer and they even swapped in an aftermarket pressure plate and lightweight flywheel at the same time! A few others have had this done as well, might want to try it if you have a cool service advisor.

yes, good will.
I had to pay for labor, free parts though.
that's how we got that worked out.
honda dealer labor fee is expensive.
$120 an hour, calls for 8.5 hours.
