sorry to hear that. Have you try little heavier oil? 5w40 or GC? The reason I'm saying is I also had noise when I had mobil 1 and switched to amsoil now, after around 500milies noise got really quite. I mean its there, but its not bad as before.

Well I have also 4runner v6, its pretty solid car. 110k, no prob at all. Well...good luck man.
Thanx for recommendation. The problem is that I have a warranty and not to lose it, i have to do what honda- dealer is telling me to do.

The same as in yours. But i dont what it is said in swiss one, because my car was bought in Spain and they were using 5w40.
But swiss due to little knowledge about this car maybe doing something wrong. Could it affect in some other way rather than this ticking noise?

I just did watch your video for first time. Yours seems pretty quite than i thought? Idk maybe hood was closed? When hood is open, is it more louder from driverside or passenger side?

Yeh, the hood was closed. I cant say that it is louder from one side to another. But i will check tomorrow. The only thing i found is that when it is cold ( you just started the engine) you wont hear any noise, but when it comes down to 1500-1000 rpm it starts knocking like on my video. Does your car makes noise? when i was in service for this problem there was civic type-r FN2 they started the engine to show me that it is the same in k20 but i cant say that it was so loud like mine.

Try open a hood and focus where sound is coming from. You will know if it's TCT or others. What brand of oil are you using? (It's notthing to do with this, but just curious.)

Mine does makes similar noisy like that, heck even my SUV makes noise like that. But I can't tell how loud is urs compare mine.

It is really hard to tell you since it's just on video. But if it's that bothers you, you should check with local mechanic again.

Oil brand i didnt check, before it was castrol and now it is honda original . It is not my first Honda , i had accord with 260k km and acura rl they were not making any noise and s2k also wasnt making any noise before i moved to switzerland. on which side is TCT? The thing is that, of course , i will take it to the dealer, i just wanted to ask , how to find whether there is a problem or not, diagnostics say that everything is perfect, but i know that it doesnt detect any mechanical failures, so maybe checking compression will give some information? The problem is that my car most of its life was parked , first 2 years i didnt use it at all, and even now on average i am doing 3-4 000 km a year even less.

Hey guys this is a follow-up video of my s2000. This is after a valve adjustment and while giving it about 3k revs. I was hoping not to have to take the head off cause of a valve issue but I'd like to see what people have to say about it, and if anyone has had similar experiences, before I start spending more money than I have to fix it.

Thanks for any insight
