where to buy coolant bypass
Hey all. I once seen a guy post on here that had the mods listed for his S. One of them was a "marcucci" throtle body coolant bypass. I am not sure if i have the name correct. Anyhow, does anyone know of the product and where i could get one. Thanks.
IF there is a kit, its probably worth 1.50$ US
Just look at the TB and you can see where the line goes through it, then bypass it.
You may need a short length of hose, fuel line works easily enough.

Buy 1.5 to 2 feet of 5/16" high temperature water hose, and refer to the great article http://www.s2000.org/mods/insulator/ on how to bypass TB and the IAC.
Actually, Idle Air Control Valve. Not that it matters.
Coolant enters the manifold through a small port towards the front of the motor, then it leaves via a right-angle tube (towards the front), goes through a hose into the throttle body, then out the throttle body, and over into the IACV on the driver's side of the manifold. From there it goes straight down into the thermostat housing (back into the system).
You can safely bypass the TB and IACV coolant lines, either by rerouting the hoses to bypass these or by installing the Hondata insulator. The insulator is a LOT of work, though it provides a LOT of gain in terms of driveability (especially in hot weather).
The coolant lines are there to prevent freezing, so I would suggest our neighbors to the Great White North probably shouldn't bypass these (at least not in winter).
