One of my guys though he blew his diff. He got pissed, and let the car sit for months.

Turns out he did the same thing. Exact same split in the spider

hehe this may upset some, but thats OK. the truth is there, and cannot be denied.
you launched an AP1, THAT is why you have what you have here in the pic.
WHY do you think honda redesigned the rear supsension, softened it, and added a CDV???? for kicks??? the rear of the ap1, is too stiff, and thus shocks the drivetrain. plus no CDV = super shock.
I have launched my car over 3500 times, ask 9kfever. i launched on what could be described as needles all standing on end. im talking if you tripped and fell on this road, bone would be showing. i left at 6k, and the car hit so hard, it extended the front struts all the way and then the clutch began to slip i have a 400 HP 400 TQ pressure plate, slipping it is no easy deal.
after 61k of this treatment (all i do is drag race my S2K) i finally have an issue, know what it is? look at this link.
I have had my axles apart, and looked for inner joint damage..NONE, and my diff is as tight as a new one. the only part that finally failed. is the torsen augers....

my diff failed

Muscle cars are for launching... get a Vette or Mustang.... they are designed that way... Honda S is a sports car. Dont complain if you blow a diff... no one forced you to do it.

this is the same crap that hillbillys said about the VW beetle. and they currently cruise the streets, and pound out mid 8s. If you want to drag race your car, then expect it to break... oh wait, if you do ANY racing, you have to have money..WHY... cars break under racing conditions. why?? they werent meant to take consistent torture. the S2k does a damn good job of hauling ass and not breaking. this is the first time my car has been down do to a failure, and its not even that, this is simply a wear item. lates

p.s dont tell me you cant drag race an S, youll get torched.

Who are you taling to, this is my thread and I did not even blow my diff! I am not even complaining that I broke the CV, I just thought I would share what happened. If I wanted to get a vette or a mustang I would have but then I would be like every other redneck is So MD
