we got a bear or two that is frequently spotted in the surrounding area.
We saw him ( her?) not far from our house last year.
My neighbor across the driveway thinks he spotted a bear cub out in the meadow behind his house a few weeks ago.
He was fairly sure but just wasn't positive because of poor evening lighting.

we also have, foxes, coytotes, deer, possums, snakes, snapping turtles, fishers, porcupines, skunks, owls, turkeys, hawks, vultures and a bald eagle at one point or another in the yard.

and of course all of the standard rodentia/ varmints like woodchuck, squirrels, wabbits, mice etc.
the good news is I have never seen a rat here.

No bears. I do feed the birds, so that has brought some mice around over the winter. No outside cat to take care of them, so we resorted to a trap under the deck. I saw a snake in the garden recently. With woods across the street, we probably have other critters around, too.

We haven't seen the bunny family lately. The chipmunks were sentenced to death due to their destructive habits.

Ran into a few of them on our Rt 78 drive last weekend....

Oh, you mean the furry ones, not the ones with the blue lights!

I have more than my share of deer that hang out behind my house. I've seen a fox about 2x in 17 years, but then on the local golf course last week, 2 different fox on the same day.

Black bears are very abnormal around here, but we have had a few in recent years. Last year it was spotted, tranquilized and moved off The College of NJ campus to some woods I presume. That's about 10 minutes from me. I'm guessing they are coming down along the wooded areas North of me, South of Rob and into my area.
