Just checked in for the first time in a while- boy they've gotten big!

The bigger one is really hopping up high now on his wing flapping test. He went from one side of the nest to the other yesterday.

 

Here's how mom and dad catch dinner:

 

They know how to fish. They're great at swiping them from osprey. I see this on the bay quite often, especially once the osprey start nesting. It's eally a lesson in flying. The eagles sit on an oyster bar and watches the osprey looking for an easy meal. Then they chase them up till they're force to drop it.
