I was SO happy to get back to the hotel after. The cop gave us a ride back (embarrassing). First time ever riding in the back of a cop car. Mom would be so proud.

I went and sat in my car when we got back and just hugged the wheel for a minute.

Patty thanks for the call Hope you and are having a good time

Good to hear, Ellen!

My daughter in law got a concussion from a car accident once. Bumps on the head are nothing to mess around with.

Often times the day or two after an accident, is when you really feel stiff and sore and the bumps and bruises really show up.

Is that the case for you? Hope not.

ellen and i am sure you really didn't lie to the Police Officer who responded to the scene. or i certainly hope you did not. there is NOTHING to gain from that. PERIOD. clearly the driver was pushing the car on public roads to cause a 40 mph skid after he lost control into a tree is irresponsible to say the least

I'm not so sure. I wasn't there (at the scene of the accident) and neither were you.

was she was NOT injured while riding as a passenger in this person's car rob?

oh and if you mean as for not telling the Officer the truth.. read her post. she said she did not tell the officer she was vintage

[QUOTE=Tadashi,Sep 28 2008, 04:32 PM]
Oh, and I even remembered to lie to the cop about my age when he asked me so I am pretty sure I do not have any serious injuries

Only lied about my age... AFTER giving Officer Dunn my CORRECT birth date and age. I said 42, no wait, I'm only 36

I try to see the humor in things even when they are dark. If I didn't I wouldn't be around right now.

I see you deleted your earlier post.

Should I have replied quicker that Yes, the bump on my head makes me happy to me alone instead of sad?

I am pretty sore today, not much worse than yesterday though. Mostly neck and shoulders. Don't see any real bruises though. My bump is gone and it is just is sore in the spot where the bump was.

Getting checked out on Wednesday unless I have either of the 2 serious symptoms the EMT told me before then.

ya you should have quoted me

because what i said is maybe that bump on the head knocked some sense into you and nothing about being alone and sad

oh and I did also say that you could use some meds because you wrote something to the effect that Life is not worth living if you don

This place is sure going down hill fast.

Ellen, here's hoping your injuries are minor and you are 100% better quickly.
