I have never heard of a flatfish. Just looked it up. Learn something new everyday.
There really is a flatfish? Now I'm learnng something. Flats are like plateau's just under the water often surrounded by deeper water. I fish the fish that like the flats as habitat.

Someone please send me some wet t shirt pics. I want to torture myself.
Wait Mom said that would grow hair on my palms.

I don't want to lose my head over this.

I didn't look it up, but it could be another name for a flounder.

I catch a flounder or a fluke once in awhile. Easiest one I've ever caught I stepped on and it jumped right up on the sand.

know the difference between a flounder and a fluke?

Most of the fish I catch flatsfishing are snook redfish bonefish permit tarpon and barracuda. Lots of other fish come through too but those are the most common.
