I don't think that one counts, dean. I don't think it has the same physical addiction properties.... although I seem to recall that some friends of mine got awfully fond of it.

No, tetrahydrocannabinol is not physically addictive. Nicotine, on the other hand, is probably near to heroin in being physically addictive. Although, the withdrawal symptoms of nicotine aren't usually as pronounced as those that can be induced by heroin withdrawal.

Incidentally, the two most dangerous drugs to withdraw from are barbiturates and alcohol. Sudden cessation of either after prolonged addiction and abuse can kill you.

Guess I'd better not even try to stop drinking my Makers Mark!

It probably wouldn't be a prudent course of action. One can't be too careful about these things.

I can absolutely vouch for the improvement in one's sense of smell....... the first thing I notice is how bad heavy smokers smell of nicotine.
Now you know what us NON-smokers have had to put up with for all those years.

Keep up the good work. We are proud of you. Coming from a family of smokers I know how tough it is.

For the benefit of my fellow Vintage members, JonRHD is the proud owner of my old S2000. I believe the RHD refers to one of his projects, a JDM 240Z.

Thanks, Jon. I still have S2000 stuff for you...black door cards, and a couple other odds and ends.
