Those two hours, are they in a supercharged S or can it be done in a N/A S as well? This is important information. My S is N/A and I want to know if I should allow an extra 1/2 hour to get there.

All kidding aside, I think a guided tour through the battlefield should be a part of the drive. I'm sure Jerry will rise to the task. He's quite knowledgable about the battle, battlefield and the area.

I hope he checks in soon.

How far south? I might be able to make it, depending on where it is.
Savannah is nice that time of the year. Who needs to stare at a bunch of dead leaves anyway?
Savannah would neat. We were just there a couple months ago but in my daughter's Passat; the S2000 would be a lot more fun.

I've been thinking of doing the Dragon for four years but always seem to have schedule conflict. Maybe this fall would work.

Cape May would be 10-1/2 hours according to Yahoo; but, for us it would be longer since I'd have to make a detour in PeeA to visit mom's grave.

Sue and I would love to visit Gettysburg again. We visited last year (after the Berkeley Springs trip) and had a great time and would like to go back and explore more of the area. We can't make the Tomcatt Memorial event this year, due to a wedding we plan to attend, so we would be very interested in attending a Fall event.

Where ever it is, Andy should be able to come with me so I hope it's on a lake again or the Atlantic Ocean. He's never been to the Atlantic, but wordly traveler that I am, I've been to Atlantic City. We're partial to lakes. Every vacation we've ever gone on involved a lake or the Pacific Ocean. Our honeymoon, (wed on July 7, 1984), was at Lake Tahoe. Prettiest lake I've ever seen.

OK, I've switched some vacation days around. As far as I know, we're in. Rob, we'll stop by your place for a pit stop on the Friday A.M.

IF PA is the destination, we'll drive 1/2 way on the Thursday evening.

Yeah, we like to split the longer rides in 1/2. So an hour will be the 1/2 way point.

JFO has ball in his court right now along with several others. NHIS Track is reserved for 10/9 & 10. www.themargate and Landmark are reserved for us starting on 10/6. This in in south centeral New Hampshire on Columbus Weekend durring peak NE Leaf peeping. Hope he sends in the contracts and opens the sign ups. If it falls through lets go to the Borgata in Alantic City. Borgata has real hot tubs vs. the one in Hinsdale.

Jerry, Rob, have you heard any of this?

There is nothing on the FC thread, last time I checked.

Are you still looking to plan a Vintage gathering?
