The Vintage Weather Thread
I got caught in an absolute deluge downpour cell coming back from the gym on the 210 this morning. The heaviest rain I've ever driven in. The Corvette didn't like it and neither did I. Traffic slowed to under 10 mph. I pulled over and switched to "Weather" driving mode (changes steering, suspension, and exhaust). Several really bright lightning flashes. It hailed at our house/office in La Crescenta. It was scary.
I may just bring the S out of hibernation anyway so it's ready to go.
Gonna be 80 today! Our warm weather has really affected the cherry blossoms this year.
"The 2016 cherry blossom peak bloom dates are now March 18 until March 23. That's nearly two weeks ahead of what had been predicted just a week ago, and almost a month ahead of the peak in 2015: April 10."

I did the same with my truck. I was going to fire up the S and run her down the street but everything has turned to mud so I didn't wake her from her slumber. I did fire up the snowmobile since it has been sitting since last April. This is the first year in 20 that I have gone zero miles.
Digging out the "red" car for another 80 degree day. El nino was predicted to give us the weather that we seem to be having but a bit more to the extremes. They called for a warmer, wetter winter. While our snow totals are as expected for the year, it was in a single storm. As far as wet overall we have been wet. As far as warm Feb. 12 degrees above last year, Jan. 6 above last year, Dec. 7 above last year. While El Nino has been slightly different from the predictions, it has been very close to what was expected here.

Actually, is it bad...I've been seeing the coverage on the news. Gorgeous here today - breezy and in the 60s. Only going to get better. Yay!
