DCA missed tying a record yesterday by 1 degree (79). Today will be 82, so might break it.

 

We're getting wet here in the Napa Valley, and whole Bay area. I'm headed downtown later to look at the Napa River, which is supposed to crest at one foot over the "minor" flood stage. They built a huge bypass to straighten out a crook in the river that was helping to cause flooding, and I want to see if water will be flowing through it for the very first time.

 

Report: no water in bypass. No flooding whatsoever. The weather people cannot only screw up the weather report, now they can't figure out tides either.Sheesh.

 

IIt's raining pretty hard in La Crescenta. The forecast is for rain through Sunday. It's about time El Niño reared it's ugly head.

A very rainy day today here in Lafayette. So no swamp tour. We were in a swamp driving around! Fortunately, tomorrow (for the +1's race) and Mon will be nice.

 

Beautiful weather here for the time being. Today high 70s and tomorrow 80s! Loving it.

 

Rain here all week. That is a good thing! Hopefully we'll see no more salt. Maybe I'll be driving the S before the end of the month.
