hard to believe that 5 days ago it was well above 60° and I was contemplating fertilizing the lawn.
instead we've gotten about a foot and a half of snow.
Wow didn't realize you guys have gotten so much. We've gotten 5 inches so far all season and last year at this date we had gotten 65 inches.

Looks like I might have to fire up the snow blower:

* ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 8 INCHES TODAY...2 TO 4 INCHES TONIGHT...
AND 1 TO 3 INCHES THURSDAY...LEADING TO STORM TOTALS OF 7 TO 15 INCHES
IN THE MOST PERSISTENT LAKE SNOWS.

I would gladly accept either temperature. Getting tired of the constant cold, with a few exceptions, since mid-December.

Yep, all lake effect. So far less than an inch here, but 10 minutes away they have a foot. Lake effect can be fickle.

We were supposed to have snow showers last night which didn't happen. Nothing in the forecast about snow this morning, but we have been having quite a few snow squalls and it's sticking since it's 19 here. Also will be very windy all day with gusts up to 50 mph. Yikes...the +1 is not running with his group today. The hard core will be out there, but they be crazy! They did cut the distance from 20 to 14 miles.

Some pics from the +1's cell phone. Those black specks are actually the snowflakes swirling around. Very strange with the sun shining and snow coming down.
