Move back to the old town for a couple weeks and see what happens.

Then have more sex. (It may not help, but it can't hurt...unless you are doing it wrong.)
If this was the new england forum you would have Post of the Day

My wife and I have retired. I am 64 and she will be 61 tomorrow. I have some slight arthuritis and take Tylenol with arthuritiis which helps. She has some tendonitis and wears a brace. She also uses a product named Biofreeze which she got from our chiropractor. It works better than icing and comes in a tube. Just rub it on and it really helps her tendonitis and my arthuritis. I have a part time detailing busines and swear by it. Getting old sucks!!!

And I was told that Zocor didn't do that.

I have had several finger joints start giving me trouble after starting Zocor - I think.

It's just joint pain and not blood clots in the joints, right?
I went to my Dr. when my wrists were in great pain. I could not wax my car and as I said before wore braces on both wrists most of the time, including when I slept. He thought it might be carpal tunnel and sent me to a hand specialist.

The hand specialist did a full exam including x rays, did find some minor arthritis in my thumbs, but not the wrist. He said it was most likely the Zocor. I was surprised since I thought Zocor might effect the muscles but not joints. The specialist told me it does effect the joints (not sure what it does).

I went back to my GP and while he insisted it was not the Zocor the agreed that I should stop for awhile to see what happens. After about a month to 6 weeks, my wrists were fine. I stayed off statins for 2 more months then changed to Lipitor.

The problem did not return.

I am now off Lipitor due to a lower chol. level.

I'm not an MD but if your dr. agrees to let you stop for a little while, you will find out if it is the Zocor.

I think Osteo is more easily managed than rhematoid. Hope for good test results for you.

Over the years, I've had various joints ache for a while, then it goes away. Maybe it will be the same for you.

The diagnosis from here: Your last birthday caused all of this.
