I used a product called OOPS! Multi-Purpose Remover. You can buy these at your local Wal-Mart store. It removed all the remains of some foam mounting tape I used to temporarily hold my rear side strakes.

On the back it claims that when "properly used, OOPS! Multi-Purpose Remover has little or no effect on oil based paints, varnishes, lacquers and shellac." I've not seen any damage to the paint after I used it, so this product gets my

I'm sorry, but I have to ask real quick- what's the windshield tape? Are you talking about the rubber that goes around? Mine is actually starting to come off, so if you all are taking it off- all the better. Please throw up a pic if anyone has it handy...Thanks!
