Default Black Wax

I know this stuff is sold for use on black paint but I'm curious to what effect this woud have on other colors?
It would seem that this would be an interesting wax to use on ...say, NFR or the blues.
In my minds eye, I would expect ever so slightly darker reds and blues from using this wax which a few owners might find interesting from time to time.
Has anyone tried it?

in my eye i picture a red car with some black window tint over the paint. I could be completely wrong, but i dont know how good its going to look IF it even changes it at all.

I think if the color does show through then there's the definite possiblity of streakiness.
