I don't know what you would report him for criminally. You gave him your sub, he didn't steal it. Didn't you think something was weird when he didn't pay when he picked it up? Only thing you could really do is go to small claims court and get a judgment against him for the amount of money. Not sure the collection efforts that would be required are worth the 250. I would write it off as a lesson learned or try re-opening communications in a bit more professional manner (without threats or bragging about your income)... but that's just my opinion.

Post up a thread in his local area to see if anybody knows him. Mod's should revoke his buying/selling privileges if not more. Just my .02 cents.

Theft by conversion, OCGA 16-8-4. You can find it here: http://www.lexis-nexis.com/hottopics/gacode/default.asp

Never give up the goods without getting paid. At least you learned a valuable lesson over a small amount. I hope you get the justice you deserve. Good luck!

I guess you could make that argument, but under the circumstances I think you created a debtor/creditor relationship when you sold him the goods and awaited payment. You didn't let him borrow the subs and then he decided to keep them (That would be theft by conversion). You sold them to him and he just hasn't paid you yet. Either way, good luck.

best thing is to post it in his local forum but I do know that he is an active member and would try to solve this. i believe the reason to his behaviour is you not doing anything until this day

So that is an acceptable excuse.. The guy owes Hoa money and I find his actions inexcusable. Maybe Hoa could have been more professional in his communication, but the fact still remains.. Nhan OWES Hoa.

NHan doesn't post much in the Georgia Forum. Sounds like the communication avenues had broken down. Hopefully, NHan will make this right.
