2016 Civic 2L Engine without wrist pin circlip

The circlip is on the opposite side of the skirts, and the piston isn't one giant cylinder that's touching the sleeve all the way around. There's an area where it's recessed and that's where the piston pin goes along with the circlip. You're probably overthinking this, it's really not difficult to see the circlip when the pistons are in the car.
As for hours, it pays 2.5hrs - yet the drying time for the Hondabond is 3 hours. Lol. But that's an argument for a differet time. Anyways, you have to drop the splash shield, remove the A/C compressor, remove an engine mount, remove the exhaust downpipe, drop the oil pan, remove the oil pump strainer and finally remove the windage tray. Then you have take pictures of all 8 circlips and send them to Techline, or call them if there are some missing.

Honda is the only OEM that forces suppliers to do a stop check at every point and require operator acknowledgment in order to continue. It's actually really annoying but its a great process to have to get near perfect quality. I'm really surprised how this got through.
Don't beat them up to bad, it happens.
