Default any local guys with junk in the trunk?

I'm in the market for a subwoofer, and I'm debating about this guy in tampa bay selling footwell sub boxes:

but I haven't really heard any sub setups in the trunk of an s2000, so I was wondering if anyone would want to meet up for a bit so I can hear how they sound.

I've always preferred the sound of a 12" over a 10", and besides, I could do a lot more with $500 when the trunk boxes sell for only $50 on ebay:

The car I purchase has an Alpine sys with a 10" sub in the trunk, and Focals up front. Sounds decent, haven't had a chance to tune to what I like yet, but you can listen to this setup. I'm Seaworld area.

The box is heavy.

I put an amp in my spare tire and just upgraded the component speakers in the cabin. Sounds excellent if you do not want to get rid of any trunk space.

Its not bad, i think the only thing that rattles is the spoiler, but thats cuz i need to replace the gasket on it and snug down the bolts. Im just lazy or I forget about it.
