My box was plain but hit pretty nicely.

You cant tell from the pic but it fit perfectly in the tool well and took up as much of its space possible for more thump.
One question on YOUR setup...i've read on people's posts is that if you have your sub in the trunk once you drop the top you won't be hearing S***...i dunno how true that is...
PS:my setup would include 2 pold audio components in the doors wired to a nice 4 channel amp(of course will be using only 2 channels) and one 10w6 JL audio version 2 sub on a 600W RMS monoblock amp...

Did you check out the two car audio forums I mentioned in one of your other thread?

http://www.caraudio.com/forum/

http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/

They can recommend local installers for you which might save you cash. Also, are you using deadning material inside the cabin? Last thing you want to do is spend all that money to have everything rattle.
Btw second2none..i can't say i have a lot of experience about deadening material..i mean if i would put it where should i put it ?? and i know its kind of ironic that i am asking about weight effect of deadening material since i am putting all that stuff in the car but what would that be??
is there a good material in the market that is not too expenisve?? any suggestions?

IR has been closed for over a year. I used to hang out at his shop often to learn stuff. He was an artist with car audio installs.

Well with the top up you definitely got more bass thats for sure. But top down wasnt so bad in normal roads.Once you hit freeway it cut the bass down even more.

BTW guys my box will be for sale as soon as im not so lazy to take pics!

There's a couple things you could do for deadning. Dynamat or quiet coat. Results are tighter and cleaner bass as well as mids. It will help but as you know. We have a convertible and the staging will not yield the final outcome as a sedan or an enclosed vehicle. Oh, the sound deadning will add extra weight on top of the audio equipment. I don't know by how much but it will.

So quiet coat sounds like a better option wouldn't it be?? (forgive my ignorance we are all learning )
would the quiet coat be hard to put on?? and are there any websites that sell it that you would recommend??
and btw so in case i do it i should do the doors?? and IF i put my sub in the trunk then i should do the trunk too right??

Quiet coat is like a black coating which is applied on. Its kind of messy if no experience doing it. Search the two forums I mentioned keyword "sound deadning".
