My box was plain but hit pretty nicely.

You cant tell from the pic but it fit perfectly in the tool well and took up as much of its space possible for more thump.

PS:my setup would include 2 pold audio components in the doors wired to a nice 4 channel amp(of course will be using only 2 channels) and one 10w6 JL audio version 2 sub on a 600W RMS monoblock amp...

Did you check out the two car audio forums I mentioned in one of your other thread?
http://www.caraudio.com/forum/
http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/
They can recommend local installers for you which might save you cash. Also, are you using deadning material inside the cabin? Last thing you want to do is spend all that money to have everything rattle.

One question on YOUR setup...i've read on people's posts is that if you have your sub in the trunk once you drop the top you won't be hearing S***...i dunno how true that is...
PS:my setup would include 2 pold audio components in the doors wired to a nice 4 channel amp(of course will be using only 2 channels) and one 10w6 JL audio version 2 sub on a 600W RMS monoblock amp...

There's a couple things you could do for deadning. Dynamat or quiet coat. Results are tighter and cleaner bass as well as mids. It will help but as you know. We have a convertible and the staging will not yield the final outcome as a sedan or an enclosed vehicle. Oh, the sound deadning will add extra weight on top of the audio equipment. I don't know by how much but it will.
