Total demographics or active participants on the board?
active participants. One or two is not going to cut it

You guys do realize that one off meets are acceptable? you don't have to rely on your CO's to plan your events or meeting fun. CO's are about the big picture.

I have noticed a large amount of guests in this community. It is very strange to be honest.

I know that I've just effectively vilified myself today, but rest assured, I won't park in your space...at least not intentionally.

Regardless, we should be out having a good time...and I hope to see you all at Dickey's...what I would like to see is the Ft. Worth crew attend the Dallas Christmas event, and vice-versa...

here's an attempt

S2Ki.com North Texas Forum User Locations: Google Maps

Everyone should be able to use their zipcode or a nearby intersection / neighborhood and save their location on this map.

I will post my question again.

how many people make up the Dallas, Fort Worth area?
roughly 6 million people make up the north texas area....
i'm guessing less than 2 percent of those are s2000 owners...

Not to be negative but 2% of 6,000,000 is 120,000. Considering there are only about 65,000 S2000's brought into the US since it's release I'd venture to say there are less than 500 S2000's in North Texas. I'm going to reach a little further and guess that 60% MAX care enough about the car to seek other owners or "clubs" or online forums.

I attend the gatherings I can but most occur when I have to work. I'd love to AutoX, but I've discovered that Tracking the bike is more affordable than the Car so I've chosen to do that.

I'd be open to meets on both Sides of Dallas if someone was willing to organize one. And most importantly - follow through with it.

I look forward to the future of this club since I've decided to KEEP this S2000, and I've made a few great friendships here.

you realize that 2% is really like 120,000? I don't even think honda has sold more than 8k S2k's a year....so in the North Texas area...i'd guess about a couple thousand or so...then think about how many actually know about/visit the site...which is why the split thing is a horrible idea...there's hardly any of us to begin with, lol.

See what I mean, lmao!

Excellent idea.
Goes along well with the S2000 meets map that everybody can edit:

^he did say less!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but thats pretty funny. i live west of fort worth and personally know that there are enough people to make up the new forum. in the three mile radius of my house i can think of nine s2000s. so yes i think that we should split and make a mid west thread. the people that live around here that dont get on the forum wont drive all the way to dallas just to hang out with snooty rich bastards talking about everything but the club! i personaly went to a lewisville meet and no one would introduce themselves. jsut because we dont want to drive doesnt mean we cant go we would like to go. its just to stupid to drive 80 miles to hang out with people that didnt even drive the s2000s.

just my .02
