Accord Key Question
I've already posted this in eletronics, but since this pertains to the UK model s2000, I would assume you guys should know more about it.
Hello,
I'm from the states. I was searching ebay.co.uk for accord keys and found out that the UK spec s2000 Keyless Entry Control Unit transmits at 433.92 MHZ, however the US model does not. Has anyone here tried using the accord key with their cars? My plan is to retrofit the UK KECU to work with the US-Spec s2000 so I can use the accord key. I saw on one ebay posting that the accord key they were selling was only compatible with the 2004-2005 s2000. Can anyone post the model number on their unit (located behind the start button), and a wiring diagram for KECU? I'm curious to see if they are different model numbers for different year s2ks in the UK. The US models kept the same unit throughout all model years. I've already posted a WTB in the trades forum, I hope to find one soon.
Much thanks in advance.

The UK cars were fitted with an aftermarket alarm system, details of which can be found here: http://www.bassoctopus.com/s2kuk/S2000alarm.pdf
No-one, as far as I know has tried to use an Accord keyfob.
