Yeah the lamp post didn't crumple at all, it looked pretty old so was probably less safety focused and stronger.
It's nice to hear sympathy from everyone in my time of sadness rather than everyone questioning the details of my accident - cheers!!

As others have said that is a hell of a lot of damage for 20mph ! That is a write off 100%.

You are lucky in more ways than one:

1. you have had an easy ride on here,"just bought an S2000 and spun on diesel" is almost a phrase of folklore on this board.
2. You or nobody else was hurt, with that much chassis damage and 2 air bags going of (at 20mph) you are one lucky mofo.
