I'm afraid at the risk of the mods beating me up.. I'm going to say it...

1/ Try the search function. Someone must have done it before.
Be brave and spend an hour or so searching through the posts.
You have been banned from saying that anymore thankfully

Well Adrian .. everyone remember selectively.

The newbies, normally got a "hello and welcome" and the answer via a link ( or even typed in if I had time ) , and the latter posts also got instructions on how to do a search if they were not sure. ( again if I had the time )

Established members being here for a year or more and knowing that the search & faq exist - got a rather more abrupt answer ( normally during my working lunch - or over dinner ). It was always what oil, what tyres, where can I buy shin etsu grease etc etc etc.
But - it was an answer they could get to immediately.

Some guy was a member for 4 years with about 5 posts per day asking for "what oil". And stated he really could not be bothered searching for it himself.

I have resigned myself to established members being lazy and will just post.

But everyone remembers me for the "read the faq" or "use the search" while being abrupt. But hey - I'm thick skinned.

Heck - the mods even gave me my own paragraph in the rules after 6 -9 months of complete and utter silence. ( although a quiet word might have been nice if they felt that way. But hey that's life.)

Anyway to see them spring into action .... erm eventually is good.
Hopefully with renewed numbers and gumption and steriod injected enlarged cahonas we will have better forums.

If someone fancies doing their MA in human behaviour - this could be a good starting point.

But to help the OP with his problem... the advice on searching and a new post stands.

I did suggest banishing you to the land of muppets that obviously fell on deaf ears also

Still you seem to have found away around the problem with your new signiture, that must have taken some effort to build up

Erm. No actually that is a bit of a laugh at myself.
Edit most of the artwork has been donated by others on here

I even changed my avatar to a picture of a dog ( Gaspode is the name of a dog ) wearing a police dog uniform. ( check out the last 2-3 pages of Muppets - you will see it )
But it is destined for another inmate.

They can't ban me for having a go at myself. Or maybe they can. Watch this space.

Anyway - Happy to exchange PM's on this.
Let's leave this thread to helping the OP

IIRC, GarageR is away on his honeymoon for another week or so. If you're desperate, you may wish to look in the list of breakers (which is at the top of the FS section) for an alternative source.

As far as removal goes, search for posts by motogp1 (or find him in the members roster, under the UK 2000 community banner) and download the service manual, which is linked in his signature to find out what's involved.

You may get more replies from the more established and knowledgeable members by using correct grammar and spelling when writing a post...it's a courtesy sort of thing

Nice work Lofty!

Change your avatar for something benign - and run for mod.
Well impressive info you have consistantly come up with.
