Try a search, it's been mentioned before when it was "advertised" on Wheeler Dealers. I know of a couple of performance cars using it with no problems, very bizarre taking the rad cap off when it's hot.

1) Doesn't prevent overheating, just won't boil and burst bits if it does.
2) Fecking expensive.
3) PITA to go from antifreeze to this stuff as all water must be removed, you have to fill it with a prep solution that absorbs water for a few days.
4) If you get a leak for any other reason, see 2.

The claim that it affects the operating temperature of the engine is bollocks, that's down to the thermostats mechanical operation alone and it's not going to change that, same goes for the fan.

All coolant prevents overheating, so I suppose that claim is 100% true.

I think they get away with this as most people perceive over heating as the car boiling over and taking a wee.

As this stuff doesn't seemingly pressurise you have less problems with expansion related leaks. For example some cars (thankfully not ours) have those in hose rubber bleed valves. Under hard use on cars like the vx220 it's known for those valves to let go when the temp goes up.

As far as heat exchange goes I believe that water has the highest values, but it boils, expands and corrodes the internals! And after pricing up Evans (£160) I thought bugger that! Water with wetter and some antifreeze stuff for me!

Ill be testing a few different things on track in the yellow car hopefully soon!

Its the circulation of the coolant through the radiator (with fan etc) that prevents overheating, not the coolant. Whereas the absence of coolant will cause overheating.

If it is better at absorbing and taking away heat than water as you can run it at higher pressure or whatever then the only purpose I can see is that you can run the engine leaner and hotter, so more power whilst maintaining normal op temperature.

But then you would have to have your pistons/head improved to do that so I don't see the point when water is like free...

The engine will run at the same temperature unless you replace the thermostat and do somthing to change the fan cut in, other than that its no better at conducting the heat, as for running at higher pressure it runs at very low pressure as in my post where I said you can take the rad cap off when its hot.

Watch the vidio then you will learn what it claims to do -
