I have been flashed maybe 20 times in last few years and have collected only 1 SP30 which did not appear to make any difference to my premium !

However recently went past a nice 5 series deisel in 2nd gear near the red line( about 63 in a 50 limit ) going up an on slip to the A 12 in Chelmsford only to see Blue lights flashing in rad grill of BMW , police man sugested all sorts of penalties but let of with another SP30 &

Take a look at the Speed Trap Bible site. Excellent source of info on speed detection.
If you get a ticket make sure you have read the info at the following link before you pay up.

I have also noticed a marked 'sense of humour' failure from the police in these situations. Not that I have that many dealings with the police...............infact I have only ever spent I night in the cells in my whole life! How many other S2000 owners have seen the inside of a police cell???
