Right guys I've bought a pioneer DEH-X5600BT at a penny less than £100, so I'm happy.

Are there any experts that can tell me exactly which wiring parts I'll need for it to work flawlessly with my dash controls?

Are you upgrading the speakers too? Otherwise I doubt you'll notice much improvement.

 

Will be mate but maybe not just yet. I've changed it more so for the hands free and music streaming functions tbh

 

I've recently got a pioneer x8500dab, has all you mention, 2 rear usb, front sd, bluetooth, cd and any colour display you like, I bought the leads needed but I'd try the remote you can attach to steering instead.
Returned one dab aerial due to doing nothing.

 

I got leads off eBay - pc99 x61 and these work albeit slightly different, ch button doesn't skip tracks, prolonged hold of vol up/down does that, hold source button in to pause

 

I noticed a big improvement in sound on mine
