i've now got the wiring loom on the right in the pic, but it still doesnt connect into the brown socket in my car, is there another socket hidden somewhere? also, i've got the relay too, where does this go? how does the wiring connect up to the relay?

ok i've got it all wired up now, had to cut the wires and join them together as the connectors werent the same fit, everything seems to be working right (as far as i can tell, ie, the button lights up when i press it and lights up when i put my lights on), i'll have to test the actual demister later tonight when it gets cold. one thing though, i havent fitted a relay, where does this go and how does it connect to the loom i've installed? i do have a relay, but havent a clue where to put it to connect up to the loom i've just put in. i also read on another thread that you need 2 relays, one under the dash and one in the engine? is this true? if so, how do they end up connecting to my loom??

i've put the relay in the only place it could possibly fit (where the fuse box is under the dash) and all seems to be working ok, the relay clicks when i turn the demister on, so hopefully that means its working. i'll wait til it gets cold later to test it out

The hard top fastens by turning the latch handles, it should pull the top down then you feel a click as it lock the pin into final position
It should be a very tight fit, there are dimensions on HT Guy site for the gap between HT and car body once adjusted properly
