I've been thinking about doing this for the entire dash. If someone's ordering from the states and that's the cheapest way of getting the right bulbs/LEDs, maybe we should share postage?

IIRC those 5 x white LED were for the rev counter / speedo and on their own, without some kind of white diffuser in place, they won't do a great job and you really DO need to order a heater / audio control from QUBE if you want a good looking colour change in those.

All the other buttons are dead easy to do.

However you must remember that LED does not diffuse its light anywhere near as well as a filament lamp does.

Hi there, just had my dash and cluster off, even removed the circuit board on the back of the speedo cluster...there's a lot of bulbs! The bulbs behind the circuit board of the speedo are labelled, T6.5 brown, T5 red, T6.5 grey etc so they are easily identified. However, the other bulbs, which are the ones I need, the heater and audio controls are not labelled. The ones in the heater controls are 2 "large long white" and 2 "large short black". The audio controls are all smaller with 4 black short, and 1 long white.

I am at a loss as to how to identify and order the correct ones?? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Nige.

PS i presume the bulbs you have listed are to replace all of them, I counted 36! And were they correct? if so, I'm tempted just to order the lot as you have!

My Start button doesn't light up. Mine is a 2001. I take it that it should then?

Any idea what bulb I need to order for it? Would be nice to get it ordered so I have it ready when I manage to get the switch out.

Many thanks

I have a MY55 and mine now lights up but only because I nicked one out of one of the audio controls. Si at Hendy can provide one for just under a fiver, dont know the size but he knows which one you will need if you email him.

I wanted to uprate mine to LED but they are all different sizes and finding out which are the LED equivalents is quite difficult. I may give up and get the ordinary bulbs!!

Cheers Nige

I'd rather not steal other bulbs if I can help it! I might try and pop the switch out over the weekend to have a look at it.
