What amp you using to power them??
The tweeter is a bit of a 'mare to squeeze into the car. I've taken a lot of advice from the dealer and its going to be a matter of moving the tweeter around the car to listen to which location works best. Focal tweeters are very smart designs so placement can be quite flexible but I don't want an overly bright sound.... the 2 most likely candidates are a custom build A-pillar install or a flush mount next to the midrange in the door. I'm told that a high mount in the door panel will take my head off...
I've got a Soundstream amp to drive these and the Kappa compnents in the rear panels, 40W of pure Class A power per channel

That is the case with the Kenwood dual mag tweeters also, way too bright up high on the door and seems to get lost when the top is down and speeds are say, "high". It works well down near the mid
I have decided on a replacement for the 16cm Alpines, they are still Alpine but I have gone down to the 13cm SPR-132B, look like a good speaker so will let you know when they are in.
Thanks to everyone
