Hi

Sorry, was a bit vague with question - I meant the changes that occurred for the '02 version, ie. suspension, and the time when glass rear screen came in, etc.

I'm looking at spending

I preferred my 2005 model to my previous 2003 as the ride comfort was much better which suited me as it was a daily driver.

But given the choice of a higher milage post 04 or a lower milage pre 04, I would go for the older model and buy on condition as you will get a much cleaner car than getting the lower end of post 04 spec.

Would find it hard to believe that a 12k budget would get you anything near an 04 spec.

drive one of each and see if you think the suspension is an issue.

if you don't care then make the decision based on cars available and how much you value a glass rear screen...

Hello,

I know it's been a while since anyone posted in this thread, but I would like to add my own questions here (since I couldn't get a decent answer on the American forum).
I don't know either what MY I should get: since it is my intention to get all the suspension goodies possible for my car, the AP1 ( -04) is the one to go for (almost all parts at J's, Spoon, Taka Kaira) are for the first model.
I am however quite fond of "comfort" , and that would mean I should lean towards an AP2 (04-).

Has anyone on this forum fitted a Cusco 'Lower-armbar' and front and rear stabilizers to an AP2?

Kind regards,
K.

Hello again,

I just noticed this on www.takakaira.co.jp:

Front Titanium Tower Bar S2000 99.5~05.10 AP1
Front Titanium Tower Bar S2000 05.11~ AP2

Can I say that I am getting totally lost? I bet some of you are too!
