Setting alarm with roof down
Hi,
I've tried a search on how to set the alarm and disable the motion sensors and found that I should be able to set the alarm (4 flashes of indicators) and press the button again (a further 3 flashes), for some reason this doesn't work for me. If I press the button twice nothing appears to happen the second time. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong??
This is the keyfob I have:
.. which I believe is the Honda Cat1 alarm (says so on the plipper anyway! )
TIA
Cheers,
Tim.

Have you got a hardtop ?
If not, then there is a switch hidden in the roof mechanism that auto-disables the ultrasonics when the roof is down, so you don't need the second plip. That might explain why you don't get any extra indicator flashes.

Switch in the hood makes sense - thanks. Seems to be working fine now..
