Paul,

On the roads...... power oversteer (sometimes, lift-off oversteer inadvertently!!! )

At the academy day, we had a go at both. As I said, I really had to turn in quite sharply for both....something I don't wish to ever have to do on the roads!!

I second San. We had a good go at both and stomping the right pedal produced a really spectacular result Lift-off oversteer left me with the unhappy feeling that if I needed to lift-off, I would have to be going to fast. Lifting-off or keeping going would then appear to result in the same mass of bent metal.

With all the sliding I did on Saturday, I feel comfortable with the power induced slide (as long as I'm not travelling too fast)

this is the only car that I am happy to play with...all my other cars have just bitten....my S2000 atleast gives plenty of warning of impending oversteer and the steering is quick enough to mean half a turn of lock is all you need to correct the car

I friggin love this car

swapped cars with a mate for the afternoon yesterday (he has an Elise 111s). We were both very impressed for different reasons. The handling of the Lotus was unreal, it is also suprisingly easy to drive seeing that it has no power steering or brake servo. He really liked the gearbox and VTEC'ing in the S, we both agreed the engine of the S sounded much sweeter when pushed compared to the Lotus.

A great experience, got the taste for trying out more fast cars!
