Daily driver here as well, 16" winters in the garage and hardtop for the colder months :-) 32 mile commute each way, mixed motorway/Saddleworth moor roads:-)

MY 2001 daily drive for me to, well almost.I have a 2001 honda CRV as well but it get a bit neglected especially in the good weather, having said that I used the s just about all of last winter, but then it was a mild winter. The contrast between the two is good fun. The s in winter is good fun to, as long as your careful, I love it.

These are a perfect daily. In fact, if I do get another, it'll be for exactly that.

Yeah mine is my daily but god have I piled the miles on. I feel guilty / bad for putting so many miles on but I've enjoyed every single one!

What I'm looking to do is not use it as a daily, use it less often as I think using it like this really tires the car out and gets to a point where a major overhaul is needed. I'd like to purchase a 335D for the everyday swoosh mobile, now that summer is basically over anyway.

Daily driver. Work is hard enough without having to leave the S at home. 33 miles back home tonight in the dark with the roof down - superb.

I'm glad Scottland might be leaving the UK with logic like that

I'd say quit work, go on the dole (it pays more) and you'll be given a house. Then you're free to work cash in hand without paying tax, isn't that how it works in this country? well for some anyway.

Haha Wouldn't say that Colin!?

Being stuck in traffic jams just feels wrong in an S2000.

Like getting a border collie and keeping it inside, it's animal/car cruelty.

I will be getting a winter beater, but until then have started cycling to work a few days a week to reduce the cruelty.

(Alas not for the general public though who have to see my fat arse in lycra)
