Mixing DOT Racing Brands
I'd like to keep the '04's stock rims and stick with OEM tire sizing for track use to avoid offset and clearance problems. Can't find a matched set of DOT racing tires in OEM sizes.
What do you think about mixing brands like Pirelli Corsa + Yoko A032Rs front to rear?

Mixing tires is generally NOT a good idea, especially on the track where you will be driving the car close to the edge of adhesion.
I suggest finding an inexpensive set of '00 - '03 wheels and mounting some Michelin Pilot Sport Cups on them in 205/55/16 front and 245/45/16 rear. You'll have gobs more grip than the OEM 17s for a much lower price and you won't have to mess around with swaybars. With the new suspension in the '04 you may be able to go up to a 225/50/16 front tire if you find the 205 gives too much understeer. If you go with 225 front and 245 rear, you will be able to use the much less expensive Kumho V700 (or V 710 once they come out) or Toyo RA-1s.

FYI, if you can find your sizes in V700's and Ecstas, they're fine to mix. I run Ecstas front and V700's rear for this reason, no problems.
Edit: to clarify, I'm talking Victoracer V700's and Ecsta V700's
