that makes total mathematical sense to me. the only thing i'm worried about is the front having more stretch than the back and not looking right at all. i've seen cars like that and it totally ruins the staggered look.

a couple of messages above me Rx8toS2k is running a 17x7.5 +50, only 2mm more clearance than my +48 and he's running 225, so i should be ok as well.

To complement this i bought HSD coils, and i will lowerd the car, whats the best tyre size ?

Tks
225/45, 255/40. It does require fender work to fit.

Valid concern. I don't think it will be an issue in this case as 225 isn't really stretched on a 8" wheel but the difference will be subtle. Either will be a nice setup though, good luck.

Will do. Now I have to stay patient for the three month wait for the CE28N.

I am currently running Volk TE37 17 x 7.5 +48 with 225/45 and 17 x 8.5 +50 with 255/40 in Dunlop Direzza ZIIs and definitely feel more grip than the previous set up. I am surprised I didn't need to do any fender modifications for this set up. No fender rubbing at all.

Thanks again for the feedback.

you would require fender work to both front and back with those offsets.

can these wheels fit an AP1 without any mods? Yokohama Tyres ADVAN Racing GT 18 Inch the machine hyper black finish i think are the sexiest looking ones i've ever seen and i must have them even if i have to take out a personal loan on top of the car payment if so, which size? 18x8 and 18x9? only comes in one offset for the front, but which offset for the rears? and which size tires without rubbing issues?

i'm not planning on lowering either.

I think you would have to go 8" +45 front, 8.5" +45 rear. 9" +35 rear would stick out well past the fender at stock height/camber. Personally, I don't think they will come out as nice as you think on a stock height car. 18" wheels and lower profile tires really accentuate the wheel gap. You will also be stuck with the C1 fitment which has almost no concave.

While I do like the wheel, I don't think it really works for your situation.

Not that wouldn't require fender work.
