255/40 will fit but 245 is a safer bet if you do not want to roll your fenders. the 225/245 stagger will be fine too, the 245 is only a 1% shorter.

i was comparing it against 17x9 +63 square setup (thats available in the current volk ce28), which i've gathered will fit with no fender mods necessary.

for front fitment, it would be 2.7 further away from suspension strut (which is always good), and will only stick out 1.3mm further out than the volks, which i think should be ok for the front.
in the rear, it would be 14mm further away from strut which is fine, but it will tick out 14mm more than the the volks which will fir in the rear.

any feedback regarding how they will fit without fender mods, and what tire sizes i could potentially run would be extremely helpful!
215/245 would be safest. you may be able to get away with 225/255, but really you should get a roll for both front and rear. rear more so than the front. front should be ok with a 225. depends on the tread width of the tires.

I absolutely refuse to do any fender modifications, hence why i'm searching high and low for fitments that could work.
215/245 could work with no fender mods? possibly?

one day i'm going to have a look at the car and do some manual measurements and see.

Thank you, deception9. I went with 17x7.5 +50 and 17x9 +63 to go with 225/45 and 255/40.

On 17x9 +63 square, to minimize the chances of fender catching in the front, what would be ideal staggered tire size front and back? 235 and 275? Or 235 and 265?

I read on the wheel fitments guide you can run staggered tires with same wheel width front and back. Anyone running this type of setup?

The car will be dropped 1-2 finger gap all around, and the fenders will not be touched at all.

215 and 245 SHOULD fit with out a roll. the rear is in that grey area. the fronts should be fine with a 215 on an 8 unless you go for some UHP Summer Tire ie RS3/4, RE71R

Yes. but none of your diameters are correct. I run 9.5+47 all around with 245 front and 255 rear. if you do 17x9 i would recommend 245front 255 rear. 275 is wayy too much tire for stock powered cars. they are also taller, heavy, more expensive, and have an absolute shit select.

again you want 245/40/17 and 255/40/17. correct size for a 235 is 235/45/17. but i recommend the 245 over the 235. with a 9+63 you should be fine with the 245/255 combo and NO rolling. but the front is gonna be closer.

EDIT: wait i missed the part about you being low. man, you can't do it. you WILL mangle your fenders if you are lowered to finger widths of measurement. safest would be 225/45/17 front and 245 rear. you have to stretch the tires if you wanna be low and not touch the fenders. gotta pay to play man. or dont go so low.

nice set up man, not too aggressive, a great deal more mechanical grip than stock size tires and wheels. well done. post feed back on the handling.

wishful thinking on my part! thank you for putting me straight.
i've read all over the forum and there are peole running 17x9 +63 255 square BUT they've all done some sort of fender mod whether its slight trim or bending the tab.

i looked at the advan site again and they seem to have other options for the front that might work.
so if i stick with the 17x9 +63 for the rear, what tire size would you advise? still the 255? and 265 would be too much tire for stock power?
and the front options are 17x7.5 +48, 17x8 +54, 17x8.5 +51.

i would assume 7.5 +48 would be best as to keep the stagger the same as stock.
what do you think, and what tire size on that width for the front?

i'm thinking 7.5 +48, 9 +63, and 225/45 F 255/40 R on stock fenders lowered to 1-2 finger gap all around.

I'd go with the 8" +54 front. The outer clearance will be almost identical but the extra wheel width will provide a slight stretch of the 225 tire and more clearance.

No such thing, thats a misnomer on an S2000 application. It makes enough power to stuff as much tire as you can cram in the fender wells. Your wheel width and offset choice is your limiting factor here however.

I've just bought my Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 for my S2k, with the sizes of: 8.0X17 ET48 for the front and for the rear: 9.0X17 ET45

To complement this i bought HSD coils, and i will lowerd the car, whats the best tyre size ?
