Ok....its been asked before, but I want to go with a non staggered setup. I got burned trying to purchase CE28N/s and I just want to find a cheaper solution.
I am looking at getting 2 more AP2 rear wheels and fit 255 Nitto tires, just like the rear.
I have -3 camber up front so I'm thinking even though that the chart does not show a minimum offset for 255 tires and 8.5 wheel, with the extra camber I figure I should be okay.
Here's what the calculator said:
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 29mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 9mm
P.S. I know the AP2 rear wheel will not fit the front hub without being machined.

Yes, you can do this, but my question is, why would you? Does your S2000 have a problem with understeer? (Especially with -3 degrees of camber in the front?!?) Mine sure didn't... in fact I would say the S2000 is one of the most neutral cars I have driven. You can still use the guide to tell you if this will fit... and if you look at a 255 tire on the front, you only need an offset of 50. So you might, if anything, need a spacer when using rear wheels on the front.
But I still question the idea of removing the stagger. You could make the car very loose, especially at autocross or track, and IMO will make the car dangerous in an accident avoidance emergency situation. If you have suspension mods that are inducing understeer, that may be a different story. Otherwise, keep the stagger.

I know what I am getting into as far as the stagger goes. There are a few guys in R&C that run 255 all around with very good results. Really, the why was not an important part of my question on fitment.
BTW...NO, I don't have understeer issues, but I want more front traction. I can compensate by stiffening up the front sway bar (saner) or removing the rear, or a combination of both.
Re look at the guide...there's no reference for 255 tires for the front, only the rear.

Understood. My apologies. You are right, in my haste I looked at the info for the rear, so ignore my blabbering about spacers and such.
Looks like you need about a -63 offset for a 245 on the front. A 255 would need about 5 mm more than that, but you'll be at -65. That's on the borderline and might fit fine with all that camber. It's possible you'll run into control arm clearance issues but I'm not sure. Good luck and please let us know how it works out!!
Cheers,
Ken

Yes, you're right. Unfortunately that's not even close to proper fitment for this car. Unless you want "VIP STYLZZZ YO" then you might be able to stretch a 205 or 215 on the front and a 245 or 255 on the rear on those really wide wheels. But the wheel will stick out of the fender and look a little goofy, IMO.
