what about 17x8 +47 (215) fronts and 17x9 +47 (245) rears. Would they fit ok with a 1.8" drop?

At stock height that would fit but I can't speak for lowered cars. The data I gathered for this thread was for stock vehicles.

Maybe someone else can chime in with more experience with lowered vehicles.

Cheers,
Ken

I have a question for the wheel/tire gurus.. I just acquired some new wheels which are 15x7 +44 all around. I was wondering what size tires can I put on them to fit my 01. Thanks

IMO... sell 'em.

They are narrower than stock in the rear.

And smaller than the stock wheels.

And they are not staggered.

And the offsets are low for an S2000, necessitating narrow tires.

But if you must use them, try a 205 in front and a 235 in the rear.

Are you sure the hub bore will fit the S2000? Do you have hubcentric rings?

Good luck.

yes, they fit fine..Just a little small but I got them really cheap and IMO they're a nice set of wheels.

Hi everyone

I have a nice set of gram lights 57s rims. These are currently on my leased g37s as winter wheels. The lease is about to expire. I like these wheels alot more than my stock s2k (MY00) rims, and was wondering if they would fit the s2k. The specs are as follows:

Offset: +40
Hole 5H
18 x 8
1/2J size
PCD 114.3

Right now I have 225/50R18 95H blizzack tires, however I would obviously be purchasing summer rubber for these.

What if anything do I have to do to make them fit? Do I have to purchase Hub rings? What size tires should I purchase? Also, my car is lowered about 1.5 inches. Is it worth the trouble or should I just sell these? Sorry for the noob questions and TIA for your input!

With those offsets you'd be lucky to get a 205 front and 235 rear tire on there without rubbing. Especially since you're lowered.

Cheers,
Ken

Also you'd have to verify the hub bores will fit, and get hubcentric rings if necessary.

Thanks for your reply. How do I verify whether the hub bores will fit?

The hub bores were posted recently in this thread. For the G, try a google search or a forum search.
