should I do either 17x9 +25 square or 17x9 +20 square OR 17x9+25 front and 17x9+20 rear? and what tire sizes would you guys run on something like that? obviously I'm looking to be "slammed" also.

You already "rub really bad" with +45, and you want to go with the same widths at +25 or +20?! You're going in the wrong direction, you need MORE offset, not less.

What are your recommendations...

Work VSXX

Front 18x8.5 et38
225/40/18 or 245/35/18

Rear 18x9 et45
245/35/18 or 255/35/18

Im getting the fenders rolled and some camber adjustment. Not really interested in the stretched look but im also not looking to get crazy with the fenders. Thanks

any of those are viable options. 225/45 set up will cost less typically. that being said, i would not run 245 all around on different widths. 255 will fill out that 9j better than a 245. the offsets of those fronts are actually a little more aggressive than the rears when taking in account of the widths. may wanna find a more aggressive rear. that being said that set up should be easy to fit and look solid.

Rotas are really not good quality wheels. google cracked rotas images. there are thousands. highly do not recommend them. look at enkei, prodrive, volk, rays, gramlights, work, etc.

that being said, aggressive stagger is totally OK, but typically as a result you run less aggressive tire sizes. i would not run a 235 on a 9.5, i'd do a 245 minimum, a 255 on the rear minimum. 18" are big on this car. i'd run 255f/265 or 275 rear.

you how ever do not list offsets, so we really have no idea of how it will fit. your offsets would need to be around +45 and higher on the front and rear if you want meaty tire. you could do 9.5+47 and 10+45 or 10.5 +51

Hey all.

Thinking of running 18x8, 18x9 with 40 offsets . Looks like I have to roll the fenders? If so, are there disadvantages/issues to rolling fenders?

Coming from Zilvia, I'm not used to seeing so many civil/helpful people lol

I'm new to S2000's and have a set of VSXX's that I'd like to use for my AP1 since I got it with bald tires and wheels I'm not fond of.

(4) 18x8.5 +35

I was wondering what staggered tire setup would be recommended? The car is lowered 1.5"

My fenders are already rolled and I'm willing to do some pulling to reduce camber.

Any help is appreciated!
