if you run a high enough offset set you should be fine lowered an inch. possibly two. i'd recommend 9 +63 in the rear and 8 +50/55. if you wanted to run more narrow wheels 8 +45-60 area, 7 in the front with +38 to 55

Ok what I plan on doing...

Coilovers (will do cv cup swap). Going to ride around on stock wheels til i get rims. I dont want to run narrow tires at all... I would like to keep stock specs or even a lil bigger IF it wont interfere with a finger gap all around... this offset and wheel stuff seems pretty confusing to me! I never put rims on any of my cars before!!

Ok so another noob here... so people usually run +45 to clear to be able to have BBK? If i have a set of 17x9 +63 ... what would be the recommended size. From what I'v read on the last 28 pages, in the rear 255/40 or 245/40 is the best, what about the front? PM would be greatly appreciated

Howbout these guys? I'm guessing I'll need a roll in the rear, fronts will be close. Currently lowered on Eibach springs.

Wheel Size: Front: 17x7 Rear: 17x8
Wheel Offset: Front: +42 Rear: +36

Probably will run a 215/45 in the front, and a 245/40 rear. Although if the ZIIs are anything like the star specs and run wide, I might do a 235 rear.

yes, you will probably need a roll in the rear. tab relocate too.

may be able to run 225 up front. but what you looking at is in the right area.

most people run a 245/35 on the rear. the 40 is too tall

Hey guys

I have a set of BBS LMs 17x8+45 in front and 17x9+42 in the rear. 225/45/17 in front and 255/40/17 in the rear. Hankook v12s.

Suspension is bone stock. I am experiencing rubbing in the rear. The tire is catching on the rubber fender guard. What do i have to do to stop the rubbing?

Fender rolling? Is this enough?
Negative camber? How much?
Stiffer suspension?

Thanks in advance.

Don

Thank you for the response!

Ended up getting a different set though...18x8 +54 with a 225/40, and 18x9.6 +62 265/35...fitment should be...interesting. Will post up once I get done polishing the lips.

anytime, post pictures! you sure its a 9.6? and not a 9.5 wide? +62 is conservative, but a 265 is big. i tried running a 265/35/18 on a 9+35 and f@#ked up the tires. good luck!

Okay these are my specs: megan track coilovers lowered to no wheel gap out back half inch tuck up front. Wheels I want to put on are ce28 18x7.5 50 offset front 225/40/18 rear 18x8.5 52 offset 265/35. I dont want to raise the car... will a roll make them fit out back? will I need to roll the fronts too? if I swap to a 255 or 245 rear will it work without a roll?
